Capt, no problem, i just was not sure if you or others knows you can send private e-mails to many folks you see on these forums through the forum.
I personally think Garden Railways forum site is happy to talk about other sites who support this great hobby.
Believe me, I know they talk about GRYs site on other forums.
And Personally i think Garden railways mag is one of the main arteries that ties alot of the manufactures and clubs and covers the whole spectrum of the hobby.

Is it REAL? or Just 1:29 scale?

Thanks you for the e-mail address, I didn't mean to offend in anyway by posting such a personal message on the forum and I appologie to Rene for making a reference to other forums.

I must say that the locomotive looks great pulling your passenger coaches! It would look great going over your main bridge with a full head of stream pulling the grain trains or your open hopper cars!!! I think you could very well have it both ways; a modern layout that can easily support the looks of the mid-20th century late steam era!!!

Kudos to you my friend...and much admiration and gratitude for what you do for the hobby.

Capt
Please feel free to e-mail me direct at cozy6z@yahoocom
To answer the Q.
its my new Aristo Pacific. I am very happy with their new smokers. I don't have to worry about them burning out.
Its also very hard to capture the smoke in a photo as the train is running. I usually need light behind iot to show up good.
I wanted it because of the Aristo new prime mover motor blocks and the heavy cars that it is pulling. The bridge is Garden metal Models hand rails.
The photo was not taken for the contest , its just one evening of ,,"railfanning in my own backyard".
I think if folks would go railfanning on their own RRs they would practice and have better photos.
Thanks for the kind words.
