Pete,

LSC is alive and well.  It has been years since I registered, but I don't remember any 'acceptance' procedure.  However, try to log in using what ever user name and password you provided. If that doesn't work, use the email address listed on the site and contact the site owner, Bob McCown.  I am sure he will get back to you, however keep in mind that LSC is a hobby for Bob, not a prefession and the site is not a commercial interest. I do know that Bob has been extremely busy with life and his presence on the site has been sparce lately.

Welcome aboard (even if it is still early).

Bob C.

ITS CLOSED DOWN FOR A FEW DAYS FROM 23RD SEPT. 2017. Something about Bob being fed up with whiners by the look of it.

OK folks, take a chill pill. Yes LSC is shuttered for a few days. Apparently there are a number of small minded whiners that don't know  how to take a hint, and Bob pulled the plug for a few days. Or at least I hope it is for a few days.

I will only comment that Bob runs the site as a hobby within the Garden Railroading hobby. I have always operated under the auspices that when something ceases to be fun, it is time to do something else. I think this is a clear indicaton that the web site is no longer fun. I hope he will allow us to at least try to get the fun back.

BluPete:

G Scale Central www.gscalecentral.net is interesting and nice guys, nice to get a different view of modelling. They have a more even distribution of DC, DCC and battery, DCC is much bigger in Europe, where it was invented.

Very quick to recommend another website? Yes, of course...and we can assume with fair certainty who is at the center of the problems; whenever there's a problem. Now none of us has a community website, let's hope it isn't long without.

   Thanks a bunch.

I was not aware recommending another website to expand his knowledge was against the rules.

Yes, apparently the center of the problem is located in Colorado! Wink

Just kidding, of course.

Glass houses.
