OT: I have a new niece!
Posted by Rene Schweitzer on Wednesday, November 17, 2004 1:00 PM
I'm a bit late in checking the forum today. . .as I drove several hours early this morning (left at 4 a.m.). My sister went into labor (early!) and I was going to see the delivery. Well, baby wouldn't wait, and when I got to the hospital, she was already born. [V]

But, the good news is she's healthy and doing well! Grace Ann Catherine was born at 4:20 a.m. today, 7 lb 3 oz 19 1/2 inches long. Very cute. "Auntie Rene" had the honor of giving her first bath. [:)]

I'm proud to say I will be Godmother to this little girl, who will be baptized on January 1. (She joins big brother Jacob, who is almost 4.)

I know it's off topic, but I just had to share. . .I'm off to get some caffeine now so I can make it through the afternoon. [:p]

Congrates on the newest member to the family,

Just remember, in most languages, Godmother translates into Babysitter [:D]

   Have fun with your trains

Congratulations on the newest addition to your family. Don't forget that you may SPOIL her and then SEND little "Miss Grace Ann" HOME, This is all part of your JOB as an AUNT and a GODMOTHER. We do hope that SANTA will remember that in a few of years little "Miss Grace Ann" would like to have a Cho-Cho of her own.
Our Best to All,
Ron

Yes, trains are on the (future) list for gifts. My nephew loves his GeoTrax train, so she'll gets lots of early exposure that way too!

Congratulations Auntie Rene!!!!!

I should just like to say that it is a capital thing that we of the forum can rejoice in each other's good fortunes. I've been in some forums that were quite the opposite.

God Bless your new addition to your family. The greatest three things I have ever been are Father, Husband... and, of course...Uncle!
