Hi guys,
I was a bit confused on this one because I didn't know that Bachmann where planning a duplex. I was further confused by the company Vulcan. We had a big manufacturer of steam engines here in the north west of the UK and, you guessed it, they where called Vulcan! Anyway, numerous web searches later and I found pictures of the Duplex built by Vulcan Iron Works, Wilkes Barre, Pen. I have to say that it is a good looking loco but I have to agree that a 'goose' built to Spectrum standards will be on my roster.
Cheers,
Kim

Hey Vic,
Now that I could make use of! Even Aristo's railbus is not expensive when you look at the "clearance" items. To get one with "Spectrum" quality will be a real treat. It will definately have a home on my indoor line. All Aboard! Later eh...Brian.

Oh Happy Day!

Bachmann, responding to the overwhelmingly negative feedback experienced after annoucing the upcoming release of the Vulcan Duplex steam engine for 2005, has decided to instead offer the same railbus they are going to offer in On30, that being Rio Grande Southern #1

I for one was dismayed by the Vulcan offering, I couldnt help wondering of all the steam engines out there that have not been modeled in LS why were they chosing such an exceptionally obscure engine type. I would have done a Class A Climax, but now official word is that Spock is dead (at least for now) Long Live the Goose!

The goose is so far getting a far better responce! I for one will pick one (or two or three) up for sure! The kitbashers are already foaming at the mouths awaiting its release!
