Try going to the LGB of America website, I have it in my list of favourites but can't remember exactly what it is, but give Google a go. There is a bloke there called Bob and he really knows his stuff.

I have had my Mallet retrofitted up to MTS and it took 2 decoders and its not 100 % right but it is very good all the same, ie I should have about 8 on board functions and I really only have about 5.

My Mallet took on a whole nerw life it was better than it ever was and it was pretty bloody good.

I have also had my Stainz and my ICE train done and it was very good foor them too, my ICE train also had to have two decoders in it as well, as it has 2 motors at opposite ends of the train, working as a double header with reverse directions.

Regards Ian.

The LGB Telegram Summer 2000, volume 11 no. 2. Has instructions for installing MTS Decoder in first generation Moguls. The Summer 2002 Volume 13, Number 2 has instructions for an early Mogul with sound. I sent mine to LGB of America and had them install, as I am certainly not an electical genius.
