Caught in a Tropical Downpour...Any Maintenance Besides Drying?

Aloha,

My trains were carefully parked under the lanai in the lee of my house.  Naturally, the wind backed around (very rare) and soaked the lot.  Beyond drying with a soft towel, is there any other preventative maintenance actions I should take?  All equipment is stock LGB.  I should note there are NO model railroading supply store sout here, and none of the hobby shops carry model RR gear, so any lubricants would have to be from another source.

More troublingly, my power sources got wet, too.  Anything I can do besides letting them dry?

Well there goes all that nice weathering!

All should be fine!

I run my layout in the snow with no issues!

Just make absolutely sure everything is thoroughly dried out before use -- especially the power pack.

It would be a good idea to spray water displacing fluid when the electronics was wet, allowing the water to just evaporate can often lead to corrosion.

if you can find something like Water Displacing forumula 40 that does not affect the plastic, and then let that evaporate, that would be good, or circuit board cleaner...
