LGB's stuff is good, but there's not a very good single reference in terms of how to wire things together for various situations. (That is, at least not online. I've seen some diagrams from books, but the books are long out of print.)

If you're looking for fairly simple installation with a fair degree of complexity in terms of automation, you may want to look at RR-Concepts' line of automation products. They can do block control with signals, and a number of other things. Their web site has wiring diagrams that show how to use their products. http://www.rr-concepts.com/

There's also Dallee Electronics. Their stuff is a little more complex in terms of wiring, but you can do some pretty cool stuff with it. Likewise, they have wiring diagrams downloadable from their web pages. http://www.dallee.com/site_index.htm

Hope that gets you going in the right direction.

Later,

K

I am building my G scale garden railway. What is the best detectors that will change the block signals and any ideas where to go to see wiring diagrams. LGB is German made, I speak and read German, but instructions are very basic. I am pulling my hair out  with this. Help please!
