What are these ? Not track insulators ?

Hi ALL! I found these in a box of my G scale train stuff. I don't have any idea of what they are OR who made them ! I do know.....they are not track isolators ! But what are they ??? Any guesses ? THANKS ! Ted

Not sure what you have there, but the center photo looks like if you hold a piece of rail upside down and push it into the slot, the upper pieces will clamp down and hold it into position -- possibly a guide for sawing a piece of rail or filing out a portion of a closure rail for a hand-made turnout, or filing the point rail while holding it in a vise.
