What if any lubs do ya'll use on the trains to keep them going A-Ok? I seen http://www.con-cor.com/Labelle.html and I never thought of it till now.
Automatic Transmission Fluid, Mineral Oil, LaBelle lubricants from Con-Cor, Lubriplate, SuperLube, Lube Gel with Teflon, powdered graphite, or powdered teflon, depending on what it is that needs lubricating.
Any moving part on a train and cars.
I use LaBelle's, lightweight on wheel journals, axle bearings, etc, just a tad, and the thick lube on gears, same - just make sure the gear bevels and worms are coated. A little goes a long way.

Yeah I watch the long video but skiped the 4x4 racers and planes. He never used much.
I found a product that lubs my back end of the tractor (box blade) and I have never looked back. Even the grease I use now on the zirts of the tractor is $$$ but been well worth it I feel.
So seening how this will be out side..... 100'x50' you never know! I just fixed a O scale lionel (old one) and in the gears was 2 track nails but it still would not go backwards intill I used some rod and reel oil on them and still nothing till I placed it on the track and ran it forward then hit the back button and it started working!
