Hey Ya'll
The enigne in the movie is a Baldwin S-3 Berkshire. I bought a chapter book about the movie to read and unfortunatley, I spoiled the whole thing. I got the Baldwin S-3 from the book, but I new it was a Berkshire.
When I read the book, it didn't directly say how many cars there are, but I saw a preveiw that had a clip with the train sliding on the ice, it looked like about 7, but I'll cut it down to 3 or 4, due to the size of my future railroad and the finance that I have. When I get my job back in March, I'll be able to purchase it (not all at once though, just one peice at a time.)

About two years ago Bachmann did a Big Hauler version of the PE but it was only around for that one year. Look around, someone might still have one laying around a hobby shop.
I cant remember if the PE was a Pacific or a Northern, it was a 4-8-4 Northern if I remember right, there for maybe an Aristo Mikado would look better. 4 cars would be good large scale consist but the preview I saw showed what looked like 20 cars.
Have fun with your trains

Hey Ya'll
I have noticed the absince of the Polar Express in G-Scale. Bachmann had a lovly one out but I passed on that. With the movie coming out, I have created projcet 3..... The Polar Express. In a picture on the website I sawn the train had 4 heavey wiehgt coaches. I'll use Aristocraft heaveyweoghts and moidfy the observation with a rounded open end like the one in the picture. I'll modify an
Aristo Craft 4-6-2 to a Berkshire style one like the one in the Polar Express (This wa all colected from Lionel, who is coming out with one in O scale).
What do Ya'll think
