A couple little loco bashes for the Pizza Layout
Posted by vsmith on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 8:19 AM

A couple little loco bashes, unpowered, I'll be using the pusher car. This allows me to build whatever
odd crazy idea I have without being hamstrung by a complete lack of readily available drive
mechanisms. I also allows me to utilize the bunch of loco parts I got from Chris into something
useful.

First up Betsy, an HLW Gondola, LGB Porter tank, Bachmann Porter Cab, Lionel smokebox. The
stack is the dail from an old radio:

Next is Noname, what started as a short basswood flatcar using the cheap, and I mean really cheap
Chinese no name (Hence the name) toy train set. Bachmann Columbia cab, part of a Bachmann
sidetank, a plumbing piece and an automotive funnel. Sorry no progress pics on this one, went too
fast and i was too lazy:

I may add drives someday, theres a Magic Carpet like drive from Britain that might work well, we'll
see.

If you ever attach a yard to the pizza, they can sit there ready for a run. Nice work. (as usual)

Stop by and say hi. I'm being placed over by the Del Oro guys on the far left of the show, on the plan it looks like Siberia.  Oh well, better than sitting at home. Wink
