Thanks, found that out when the person I bought this engine from replied to my message on ebay and sent me to OGVRS web site where they had pictures of the deep holes with screws in them. The ones under the front trucks were hard to take out. Now I can install my QSI sound card to use on my new Piko digital system.

Thanks again,

JJ

Most USA diesel engines need a long thin phillips screw driver to take them apart, and there are some under the fuel tank.

Some need the trucks turned and go between the wheel and side frame to get at the recessed holes.

And when all are out, the chassis tends to hold the engine body in place as if you missed some screws.

USA SD70 cab removal
Posted by JJ33 on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 7:42 PM

I am getting my Piko digital system in a couple weeks and was looking into the PC cards my engines have, I got into my Aristo-Craft engines but can't find any screws to get into to inside of my USA SD70. One of my front windows fell in and my engineer is off his seat. Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

JJ
