Ben,

I just need the cabs and the tenders.

BTW, thanks again for the great photos of your railroad.

Vic,

If you ever do find a source for reasonably priced Big Hauler engines and tenders let me know. I need a few for parts as well.

Hey Ya'll

I recomend that yopu check E-Bay, I see old Big Haulers in great condition in sets and separetly for less than $20. My sister who is * likes Thomas the Tank Engine and we are looking for the old Thomas and James sets for her. We've bought the old building pack from our local hobby store, but he didn't have the sets as he had just sold them. Can ya'll tell me where I can find them for under $80?

I have been scrounging on e-bay and found loads of great deals. I would've liked to win all of them but, I only won 3. 1 was a Bachmann RC Santa Fe Big Hauler Set (Green Engine, cars, track, and cntroller), 2 was a Few LGB LG&B Cars (The barrel car and the reefer), and 3 was a Box of 12 LGB 12 inch straights.

The Big Hauler was $10, The LGB cars were $5, and the Track was $7. There are some GREAT Deals on e-bay. I almost won an Accucraft brand new Ruby #1 kit. But I was outbid by only one bid. Oh well. Still I came out great.

Nice going, I think you got real lucky on ebay though, every time I bid on something the $$ goes thru the roof! I have been looking for a old Bachmann Big Hauler, if I had won it, it would be razorsaw foder! I need the parts![:D]

Great way to start, get the train without the rustmaster tinplate track Bachmann sells. The Annie is a good engine and then cars are also good. Now its tracklaying time.!

OK, good job, a man after my own heart! Keep scrounging and getting "connected". Have fun in Philly, I was there earlier this year and had a great time stuffing myself with cheese steaks. See if you can get out to the Unknown Soldier graveyard from the Revolutionary war. Worth the side trip.[oX)]
