Looking good! I especially like the texture of the metal tape. Gives the illusion of distortions normally found in metal walls. Much better than sheet plastic painted silver.

I cut into the tender for the fireman. Added bolt heads to the back and 'riveted' the sides with metal duct tape that I ran a pounce wheel over from the back. Top is removable to access the speaker, sound card and receiver.

Bachman's Emily is loosely based on the Stirling Single UK locomotive. I got some parts from back2bay6 that helped me quite a bit. I've already sanded off the molded boiler bands and covered over it with Nashua Metal Duct tape(don't use the Walmart stuff, it's half as thick!). I've added bolt heads from Ozark castings also. Cut off the back of the cab so it is straight across.
This view shows the wheel behind the open holes in the 'splashers'. Note the bolt heads on the front. Castings I got also have cylinder covers for the cylinders with bolt heads molded in and full backhead parts.
