Same here as in getting back in the hobby. Built my large scale layout in 2001-2006. It was quite impressive I was told. We had a large scale club here in the Austin area Heart of Texas G-Gaugers. When the club kinda fell apart I lost interest. My railroad went into major decline and finally I got tired of looking at it, and my friends asking if it runs. So I am doing a major rebuild. Will post some photos as I go, past and present.

Hey Stu. Did HO myself for years. Once you see the mere size of G there is no point in going back..lol. Add to that the fact that this stuff runs outdoors and I was hooked. Really excited about getting back into this and seeing what everyone else is doing. Just waiting on Winter to get out of here. Then again it's Canada so I will be waiting a while. Later eh...Brian.

Hello Brian!

I'm not newly returned, just new. Spending my time playing with Fn3 geared locies and wondering why I spent all that time with HO.

Welcome back!

Stu

Hi everyone! Have not been on here for quite some time now. Had a nice layout back when I lived in Winnipeg. Moved 5 years ago and the trains have been boxed up since. Happy to say a new layout is in the planning stages with construction due to start in the Spring! Looking forward to getting reacquainted with you all. Not sure who is still on here after all these years. Always willing to meet new people. Later eh...Brian.
