I subscribe to the digital editions of both Model Railroader and to Garden Railways and enjoy both. I read the digital edition on both my Kindle Fire HD and on a Samsung Tab2.  The reading experience of the Model Railroader is better as that edition gives you the option to read the articles as a straight text file, with the Garden Railways digital you have to zoom in on the articles which makes it a harder read.  I would think two magazines from the same publisher would act the same way on the same device.  As added information I get the subscriptions from Kalmbach delivered through Zinio application.
