Trainfest in Milwaukee is November 9 and 10 this year

I have been remiss in posting the 2013 group photo taken at Milwaukee's Trainfest on Saturday November 9th at High Noon.  Trainfest was quite crowded at the time.   But we gottq get Rene in the photo one of these years.

I will come around and say Hi on Sunday and I promise to ask only answerable question.

One of these years maybe I can talk Keith Schmidt into making Sunday afternoon the time for the group photo, so that you can be in it.

Trainfest is an operating layout show, with clinics and historical societies taking part, but also many vendors and manufacturers have displays and booths.  It is NOT a swap meet.  The website is www.Trainfest.com

For several years now Keith Schmidt and I have organized a TRAINS.com forum gathering for those attending Trainfest as a chance to meet in person and get to put a face with a screen name.  This goes back to when Erik Bergstrom was our Forum moderator, and he even arranged for Forum Member T shirts. Anyone remember those?  Keith can find photos for this gathering back to 2005 so this is probably the 8th Annual.  

Trainfest is being held Saturday November 9th and Sunday the 10th from 9am to 5:30pm.  It will take place at Wisconsin State Fair Park at the Wisconsin Expo Center.  

The plan as it the past is to have those members interested in joining in the photo please show up at the Kalmbach Publishing booth at 12 noon on Saturday November 9th.  This isn't just for Model Railroader or Trains or any other particular Kalmbach magazine forums members, but any member of any of the forums be they modeling, or railfan.  Please join us.  That includes you Rene although it seems Saturdays never work for you.   

In the past we have had guests from various Kalmbach magazines join us in the photo.
