I have a Split Jaw 100-B1 2amp Reversing Unit and want to use it to run an Eggliner Locomotive back and forth on a short (about six feet) length of track. I've put insulator clamps and diodes (provided by Split Jaw) on the two ends of the track and have attached the Reversing Unit and plugged it in tandem with a transformer, per the instructions. There is power to the track and the unit is "clicking," but the train just runs off of the end of the track without stopping or reversing. Anyone familiar with this device? I'm baffled!
Hi Have you got the diodes the right way around, some times the instructions get it wrong try this you have nothing to loose Hope this helps

I would add "same rail?" , and do you have the "duration pots" (potentiometers) dialed down enough? First time setting up can be a roay pain, Took me almost half hour on living room floor to get it right with son-in-law (electrician) helping. Then wife reaed instructions and fixed it.

Thanks for the information! I'll go back and try again.
