Take at look at the selection of vehicles at http://3000toys.com/ . They carry several scales. I didn't do the research to see if they actually carry a bus (pretty good chance) but it's worth scrolling about to see what else might prove useful down the line if they don't have a bus you can use at this time. Prices will likely be more than Target type but the model detail is generally very nice.
