Hello, ramswife2004!! This is certainly not a men only forum. Everyone who likes trains (whether you have one or not) is welcome. I think it's pretty cool you are going to incorportate your angel collection with the railroad, that's what makes garden railways so great- the family togetherness and creative innovations. Keep us posted on how it's coming along. [oX)]

G day LUV, i HOPE YOU ARE LOOKING AFTER YOUR BLOKE OK.

This is just a brief example of Australian slang, taken to its enth degree is known as Strine, what you should understand is that my objection to you has nothing to do with your gender, more to do with the fact that this is an international forum and as such you should consider other, people who wi***o understand what you are on about

All the best luv.

Well, I realize that I'm going to blow my cover, but...I'm a train-lovin' woman, too. I have a garden railroad, and I scratchbuild rolling stock and buildings. I've had two guys in our G gauge club flat out not believe that I designed and scratchbuilt the water tower that I brought for show and tell!
In this day and age, there's nothing wrong with being a train-lover, scratchbuilder, and woodworker, if you're a woman!

Let me just say...Welcome to the forum! Never feel you have to worry about your gender. Albiet many wives have been the death of many trainsets, I don't think there are any "woman haters" in here. If there are any...well, it should make for good debating then.

All in all...WELCOME, I can't wait to learn from you and share in your triumphs.

Nice to hear from both of you.[:)]

There are more women into trains than you may think.[;)]

In fact, my wife owns my layout, I just run it for her. Just ask her, she will tell you![:o)]

You mean to tell me the glitches that exist from time to time getting logged into or posting on this forum have to do with the gender of the poster?
Hmmmm.
How do I explain that to my wife?
