USA Trains 2 Bay ACF Hopper Project
Posted by EMD Trainman on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 1:13 AM

The USA Trains 2 Bay ACF Hopper project has been officially a "Un-Announced" project. You will not find any information of any type either on the the USA Trains website or Charles Ro Website. So far the only way you can find any information about this semi-secret project is on my own website.

I first "Spied" the USA Trains 2 Bay ACF Hopper project at the 2009 ECLS Spring show in York, PA. The original scheduled release was suppose to be late 2009 or early 2010.

The 2 Bay ACF Hopper almost seemed like a forgotten project. Since we have seen the 29ft, 42ft tank cars, 60ft box cars and even the Autorack being released.

The USA Trains 2 Bay ACF Hopper "Sample" was again on display at the ECLS 2010 fall show in York, PA but this time with no special announcment or scheduled time frame to be released. The USA Trains 2 Bay ACF Hopper "Sample" made it's last appearance at the ECLS 2011 Fall show. Again, no announcements or schedule.

I have photos of the USA Trains 2 Bay ACF Hopper "Sample" but they are "Exclusive" to my website. All photos of this "Sample" project were shot at the USA Trains booth table at the ECLS in York, PA.

I'm hoping that USA Trains will continue the project for 2013
