Check the wheel gauge on that PCC... they are all overgauge and usually run poorly... The best fix is to thin the flanges and regauge... details on my site.

Cant say I have ever gone that long without running something, but I do know how good it feels to run something after any length of down time.  I hadnt run anything on the garden line since before Thanksgiving.  Cold weather moved in, then lots of snow totaly shut down running anything.  Then this past week it started to warm up, last 2 days were in the low 60's.  I broke out the steamer and  a few wagons and ran some trains while I did a little track maintance.  I have many plans in my mind for my garden line, most only bound by our lack of extra income to spend to make them happen right now.  But in time my line will get extended down around the far evergreen tree and a branch back to our back yard will get built.   Cheers  Mike and Michele T

I get to run my Aristo PTC PCC on the loop around the fiber-optic tree . Man does it bring back memories of riding the #11 and #36 cars when I was a kid back  in the fifty's.  I will be glad I'm rebuilding my RR when I see the car outside on a some real track. come on springtime

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays

Getting a loop up and going is a pretty good accomplishment. Our railroads are never done, just a continuing progress, so do some winter work so you will be ready to go when the weather improves.

Well unfortunately Im a total newbie and by the time i finished putting a tunnel under my waterfall and around my pond i had just started another logging spur and i ran out of season so basically what i ended up with this year is a loop (pretty boring) didnt even get time to finish the first town

we dont put the tree up anymore because its just the two of us. but i hinted to maybe running a train around the living room and she just scowled. im hoping to learn more about what im doing this winter and next year....well i guess from now on

I know what u mean, I for one do not intend to pay to use a forum and still see advertizing.sothis one works for me. My run yesterday was around a christmas tree. Using my wife's LGB snoopy train ( Her choice ) instead of my Aristocraft Christmas train from 2000. I use a new brite snow set under the LGB R1 track I obtained in the 90's at 75% off it has saved alot of rug cleaning.

OK I know it's been some time since I ran anything, BUT my first  try was a failure how depressing is that. So I dusted myself and tryed one more time after I removed the tunnel boy I sure did miss running trains.
