I have a paint booth question for someone. I've got a paint area 29"w, 26"h, and 24"d in my shop that i built for painting my trains. Where can I get a good small exhaust fan or paint booth to put in this area? I would like to put the exhaust fan on the top of my paint booth. I would like to get some feed back from someone that is using a paint booth and what kind of booth or exhaust fans they are using. Where is a good supplier to purchase these items. I've been looking on the internet and I'm about to go nuts trying to figure out what (cfm) motors fans to use or what paint booths to buy. You can see the area I have, so what would be best cfm for this area. I use can spray paint alot to build my buildings as well testors paints. thanks.
I have allways used a cheap oven exhaust fan
When I read about the evils of drinking I quit reading.
As above a range hood would be Ideal for your 10 1/2 cubic foot booth.
Look around your neighborhood maybe somebodies getting a new kitchen and you can score one for FREE!!
You'll want to duct it outside or come up with some kind of air scrubber.

Don't believe everything you think!
The down side of a range is that the filter area is WAY too small. Adding pleated filters like used in the air handler for the house will aid greatly in the effectiveness of the hood. Ducting it outside is a good idea, however not necessary if you are using water based paints. Solvent base paint is another matter, and definitely requires outside venting.
