For many years those of us who frequent any of these Kalmbach forums have had a tradition for a group photo taken at the Kalmbach booth at Milwaukee's Trainfest. Some might recall when we had Forum Member t-shirts printed up, thanks to our original moderator, Erik Bergstrom.
Keith Schmidt and I have been keeping that photo tradition going and we hope to continue it in 2012.
For those that are attending any member of the Forums hosted here at Kalmbach we will meet at the Kalmbach Publishing Display at Trainfest at 12 Noon on Saturday.
Trainfest is one of the largest Model Railroad/Train Shows in the US. With over 140,000 square feet the emphasis is on operating model railroads of all scales. There are also hobby shops, manufacturers, historica societies and more.
Trainfest is put on by the Southeastern Wisconsin Division of the NMRA. Over 20,000 people usually attend the two days of Trainfest. To find out more including coupons check out www.trainfest.com
Where: Wisconsin State Fair Park Exposition Building
When : Saturday November 10th and Sunday November 11th 9am to 5:30pm Both Days.
So .... the Kalmbach Publishing Display at 12noon on Saturday.

I am just bumping my own post
Once again it appears Rene won't be there for the Saturday photo but I see she is scheduled to be at the Kalmbach booth on Sunday.
Pat Shaver (wife of Carl) took the photo of this year's forum member group photo at Milwaukee's Trainfest

Back Row Left to Right Keith Schmidt(kschmidt626), Jim Hediger Senior Editor Model Railroader, Dave Nelson(dknelson), Carl Shaver(CshaveRR), Scott Schnabl(sschnabel), and Greg Turinetti(Northwest Flyer).
Attendance at this year's Trainfest was over 25,500.
Thanks, as always, Dave for coordinating this AND sharing the photo. Attendance was helped by the fact that the Packers had their bye week.
I am sorry to say that I was not able to make it this weekend. I've been sick for several weeks (round two of antibiotics, here we come). But I hope a good time was had by all!
