Try TrainCraft by Klaus - www.traincrarfbyklaus.com . If he can't help you, he probably knows someone who can. If you've got a camera phone handy, take a picture and e-mail it to him. His e-mail should be on his web site.

LGB 2071D Valve Gear Help
Posted by billbarman on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 10:47 PM

Hello all, I'm normally on the 3 rail O gauge form, but I do love G scale. LGB in particular, I just don't have al lthe room I'd like for it.

Anyway, I bought an LGB 2071D that was mint, but had been sitting in storage for around 20 years. It was in perfect condition, but some of the plastic pieces such as the handrails had become brittle and cracked easy. The little plastic rod that moves in and out of the cylinder broke while the train was running. The train cannot run unless this is replaced and the valve gear is normal again. Do they sell spare parts for this engine? If so, where? This seems like a difficult part to replace, is there somewhere I can send the train to be repaired? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.
