Will you use switches or a turntable??

Train-Li has both available, turntable, and 3 way and 5 way switches.

These do need protection outdoors.

People in my club built train sheds for storage and use switches for access.  One member did get the 5 way.

I used parts from Colorado Model Structures to make my car storage building. I posted some pix of it on MLS, in the building forum.  They also have parts to make a roundhouse. You have to make your own roof/etc.  Good guy to deal with.

I can't seem to make the link above work, guess you'd have to copy/paste it into your browser.

Here are other websites that have plans for enginehouses plus other structures for garden railways; brewerplans.com and bigindoortrains.com.

Westy,

Also take a look at the other fora available.  Large Scale Central and My Large Scale both have builders logs on both types.  My memory (for what is left of it  Big Smile) tells me there is a builders log on LSC of a great 2 stall engine house.  I will most likely massage it for mine when I get to building it.

Korber Models is supposed to be reissuing kits again and one of the kits mentioned was the three stall Roundhouse segment. When assembled properly they are as the bulletproof as Pola kits but like Pola can be frighteningly expensive.2 or 3 segments would make a big Roundhouse.

   Have fun with your trains
