dc power for Locolinc
Posted by ronaldo6`5 on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 9:13 AM

What is the best power source fo ruse with  the Locolinc system. I have about 250' of stainless track, plenty of feeders, and I want the biggest power available without blowing up the radios.

Never that easy . I have issues dating back to the early '90s. Is there one that specifically says use' X' . I wrote Lonclinc hoping for a define suggestion and didn't get it. Has anyone got first hand knowledge about it? Massoth model no? Radioshac number?

The voltage you run somewhat depends on the speed you want to go...

I think you are trying to ask about current.

The locomotives only use the amount of current they need... so you could have a 50 amp supply but only be using 10 amps.

How about some parameters:

what locos, how many locos on the track at the same time, is the loco all one circuit or in separate blocks?
