PS OHHHHH, you took Rene's high school photo down...

Is it REAL? or Just 1:29 scale?

Marty,

Modern to me is the 70's up to now. Nothing against steam engines but I am not really into anything earlier than the 50's which seems to be most of what is in the magazine. I wanted to find back issues but specific ones covering the time period of 70's and on.  I am also not interested in spaghetti type layouts.

Would love to see more video's of your operation as it is pretty impressive but I think I have watched all of them.

Thanks Rene, I ordered Dec 2009, April 2006, and Oct 2008 and got them a couple days later.   The Snake River Railroad is pretty awesome and I will be reading that one over and over.

I am operation minded as well as prototypical minded.  I am looking to model the Milwaukee Road in Lynden, WA in the 70's as prototypical as I can and plan on a lot of switching work.

Rene S

Also, we will have a 1970s themed indoor large scale layout in the April issue. It's fantastic.

How about preview since it's not avaliable.

We've featured a number of diesel railroads in the past:

June 2010

December 2010

October 2009

October 2008 for starters

Also, we will have a 1970s themed indoor large scale layout in the April issue. It's fantastic.

Modern Railoading on Garden Railroad

Looking to find what issues of Garden Railways had an article about someone's garden railroad that had a modern railroading motif or even a switching layout.  Everything I have here at home are in the other scales which in a sense does not transfer well to a garden railroad.

Thanks
