Mike,

If your club is a success, please email me at rschweitzer@kalmbach.com and give me the contact information. I'd be happy to run it in our club directory.

Mike I envy you your Goldens, I have had two and between them I had a great pet and friend for thirty years. The first I had to have put down at 16 years he was an Australian Champion show dog and a UD in obedience but actually didn't like retrieving. He actually won the reserve challenge at the Sydney Royal making him theoretically the second best male Golden retriever in Australia. The second I only lost him about 2 years ago I had him put down as well he was pining for my wifes son who had left home and he didn't eat for weeks.

Regards

New Club Forming near Erie, PA !!!!

Hello everybody, I am wanting to start a large scale club near Erie, PA. I am calling it a large scale club so as to include outdoor garden lines and indoor large scale lines. My line for the time being is an indoor line around the ceiling of my living room, appox 13' x 20' loop, running all LGB equipment. I have had garden lines but space and two excited golden retrievers will delay the garden line for a couple of more years till we get a house, for now we are in a mobile home that has nice vaulted ceilings and the trains look fantistic! I plan to call the club the Lake Erie Large Scalers. Folks can contact me at chevy_tuff@adelphia.net. I would rather not have calls at home as they are hard to return as I work second shift when most others are home. but I can email anytime of day that I am home. I know there is or was a club down near pittsburg, but thats 2 1/2 hours away. I know of none localy, just an HO club and a modular HO club in NY. I know there are large scalers out in my area as I see stuff being bought at the local show in Nov. Email me and lets get together and play, talk trains. Thanks Mike T
