John, did you click on the pic? It makes it much bigger. Or open up the link to the direct pic page and print it out from there.
1 inch =25.4mm, 25mm is close enough.
in 1:20.3 scale 1 scale foot = 15mm exactly.
in 1:22.5 scale 1 scale foot = 13.5mm
in 1:24 scale 1 scale foot = 12mm
in 1:29 scale 1 scale foot = so close to 10mm that it doesn't matter.
Or just go buy a cheap metric ruler :)

OK blokes.
I've made up a rudimentary drawing of the front. (Not to scale)
(Click on pic to enlarge)
Print it out and we'll start talking about materials

Phil Love to watch and learn and build. I don't always build during the class but the knowledge learned is wonderful. My biggest challange is working with little pieces verses the life size stuff I work with every day.

Yes!
I'm beginning to think my layout is just an excuse to build buildings and bridges. Other than a few Pola buildings to get the layout started, I've been working with wood. I think I've got the basics but really want to expand my skill set.
Besides, I need a store for my town.

Would be fun. Just list the supplies to buy because I have like 0 right now and I am working on weathering several box cars.
But yes, think it would be a change.

Phil,
Yes I would be very interested in a structure building class. Your work is great.

Any interest in a structure-building class?

Ladies & gents,
I have in mind to build this structure from scratch-
If anyone is interested I'll document my construction of it as a scratch-building class similar to what we did with the box-car http://www.trains.com/community/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=19846
and ore-car
http://www.trains.com/community/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=18539
The building will be in 1:20.3 scale but conversion to any other scale isn't rocket science.
Let me know your thoughts. Any interest?
