Hector,
Yeah, you can do it but it's not pretty. You have to butcher one end of a piece of Bachmann track and one piece of the LGB and then clamp them (I use split jaw clamps). Go easy and don't crush the hollow Bachmann track. I've did it one Xmas when I wanted to have a big all around the house layout for the holidays. Never did it again.
Best,
TJ

Hector, Nice Hat!
Pick up some used brass track on Ebay, the R1 (4' diameter) curved track is going for cheap, and the 12" long straights are also getting sold for less than the wider radius and longer lenth stuff, it shouldnt take too long to accumulate enough track to replace the Thomas set junk track. The Bachmann clip-on track power connector will work on LGB Aristo USA track as well
Have fun with your trains
Thanks. I bought a Bachmann Thomas with Annie and Clarabel G scale set for $64 at Hobby Lobby. Retail price $300. So I'm going to have some fun with it.
Hi Bachmann track is only for indoor use and for fun, outdoor track I use LGB and its been down for 5 years and moved about a bit over the years with no problems. Hoe this helps
Age is only a state of mind, keep the mind active and enjoy life
No -- the Bachmann track is hollow steel and the others are solid metal. They are also different sizes. Bachmann track is not suitable for outdoor use, either.
Can the bachmann track you find in the ready to run G scale trainsets connect directly with LGB track?
