Current Detection Circuit
Posted by IRB Souther Engineer on Thursday, August 18, 2011 5:41 PM

I'm looking for a current detection circuit for block control.

There was one that cabbage posted in this thread: http://cs.trains.com/trccs/forums/p/178045/1953708.aspx#1953708

I liked that one but it is now gone...

You are asking about current detection

Do you want current detection or passive detection like the thread you pointed to discusses?

A current detection circuit, there was one in that thread (but it's gone).

I couldn't find this in Rob's index. It is for DC track circuits. http://home.cogeco.ca/~rpaisley4/BODGP.html

It is still on his site.

Thanks Ralph. I have one question though: what is 'controller "live"'?

"Controller Live" is the live i.e. positive side of the output from your controller.
