Open House a success

Our annual open house was held this past weekend. The following link is to the newspaper article in our local Iowa City Press Citizen. http://www.presscitizen.com/news/072604train.htm
Article should have read "Hundreds of people" rather that "Dozens of people" There also was a one fourth page article in the Cedear Rapids (Iowa) Gazette on Friday before the open house. Most of my supply of "Beginning Garden Railroading" was distibuted during the weekend. Thanks Garden Railways and Rene. Did not receive the tips and suggestions phamplet.

I stayed up north and attended the Cr Tour. What a terrific time my son and I had. My congrats to your club. Also I too was surprised at the number of people that had attended.

I believe the Press Citizen removed the link. It was on the front page of community section. Thanks for the Beginning Garden Railways magazines. They were very popular.
