Water Tower

Hi Guys,

I have built a Hexagonal Water Tower in 20:1, scaled up from a HO model found in an old magazine. Question is; were water towers ever painted, & if so, in what colours.

For the record, I reside in Queensland, Australia. Any help you may provide is greatly appreciated

Hi Ted,  If yours is wood they were stained awood colour IE teack/oak  what ever wood was used or you can just leave it to weather
