Weeds? G Scale line trimmer - whipper snipper.

Spring has sprung, the grass has riz...down under at least.  This is the sight that met me when I went to clear the bush line for the running season.

I have a full size line trimmer (or whipper snipper) but it would be a bit too much in the confined area.  Then a thought.  I also have a primitive motor tool I no longer use.  I chucked a piece of 2mm thick trimmer line in the motor tool and connected a battery.  The line spins off centre, with centrifical force and causes a little vibration, but the results speak for themselves.

The line does not damage the brass rail, and if used carefully, should not damage the ties or chair plates.
