For the .pfd downloads they will not open either.
Seems we had a .pfd problem before.

Geeeeeez, I'm sorry you guys are having a problem. I saw this message over the weekend but there wasn't anything I could do then. I've sent a priority message to Erik Bergstrom (bergie) and asked him to respond. I'll keep you posted.

I just tried it and it worked for me as well. Since our servers are off site, I'm essentially accessing anything on the site the same way the rest of you are.

If you're on a dial-up Internet connection you might have problems because of the PDF's file size (your connection might be timing out). If that's the case, and if you're on a PC, right-click on the PDF icon you want to download and choose "Save Target As" from the dialog box that appears on your screen. You can then save the PDF to your computer and open it from there.

I hope this helps.

Bergie has a point. Especially if you're trying to download the Gulapata article, which is a pretty large file. If anyone ever has trouble with that article, email me. I have a copy on my computer I'd be happy to send you.

I tried to download the gulapata pdf-file already many times. Forget it. The file is damaged and doesn't open. I sent e-mails to some Garden Railway "authorities" about it, but nothing happend. I tried it this morning again with the same result.[V]
