It's very easy to add a photo to your profle. Just to the right of the forum area, you will see a box with various options. See this photo:

Select "Change your avatar." A box like this will pop up:

Choose an image from your computer. The file name will appear next to the "choose file" box. Click on "Use uploaded image" and it will use the photo you've just selected. It may take a few minutes for it to appear.

Please note: There may be size restrictions (meaning you can't upload a 1000 pixel wide, 10 mg image). If that's the case, you'll get an error message. Try again with a smaller image.

Hi Sean,    When we were on your side of the pond, we vistited the denver rio grande railway, this loco was on a short piece of track, it looked good hence the pic for the forum. At home I run Bachmann consolidations,  I hope to add the D.R.G next year if we get the chance and price is right.Big Smile

Part of it might be that if one dosen't really figure out the manipulations of getting the picture onto the website and making it stick it gets too frustrating for some.  Putting a picture on for your avator is simple.  I used to have a picture on my signature line also which was not that simple for me.   It took me a while to make that work, as well as actually posting other pictures.  I've got pictures on Photobucket that I connected to to get the pictures for the websites to the websites and I had a heck of a time getting it all together which I finally did.  Compound that along with the two other railroad websites that I hung out at that each had different methods for making it work, it got to be a hairpuller at first.
