The big factor in getting rid of errors when Uploading to YouTube is to have the Fastest Internet service that your carrier can provide. Dial-Up speed is too slow for the information to be sent to YouTube without something being lost, resulting in an error.

How fast is your internet connection?

How long is the estimated Upload time on the videos?

Have you looked at the You Tube Help files yet? You did not say if you have.

I use a Linux Operating System with Firefox 3.0.17 and have no issues uploading AVI files right from my desktop.

If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.

Uploading problems with YouTube
Posted by noela on Friday, September 24, 2010 6:37 PM

I am having a heck of a time uploading videos to YouTube.  I have a Mac Pro tower that is loaded.  I can import the clip from my camera into iMovie, edit it, and that's as far as it gets.  When I go to share with YouTube I get different errors each time I try to upload.  I have copied the clip to my desktop and tried to use Quick Time to upload, and again, no luck.  I have used DVDSoft uploader on a PC, and still no luck.  I do have an account with YouTube, but it is very frustrating  trying to get videos up and running.  Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

BTW, my clips are all less than 10 minutes long.  I can access YouTube and look at videos, and I am using Safari as my browser.

Thank you.
