I have the subject train with the A unit with batteries and remote control. I had this done by someone. I would like to add battery power to the B unit and wonder if anyone can help me out with this.
Depends what you mean by adding batteries to the B unit.If all you want to do is have the B unit as part of the consist why not simply take the motors out of the B unit and tow it along unpowered.If that is not an option, whatever you do the two parts must be matched for performance. So:1. If you intend to have the two units permanently coupled together the simple solution is to use the batteries and speed control in the A unit. Assuming of course it is capable of powering two units.OR: 2. You add exactly the same batteries and R/C control to the B unit. That will allow you to match the performance more accurately.Probably best to contact the original fitter for assistance.

What I want to do is power the B unit to add more power overall. I suspected that what I needed to do was what you said, add the same battery power to the b unit and the same controller then they would both be controled by the same remote, it is all an RCS system.
