I did a review of one probably two years ago now. Search the product reviews here. Overall, I think it's the best of all the versions of the C-16 from the early Delton versions. The looks haven't changed all that much, but mechanically, this is the most sound version. Compared to many locos from LGB (and certainly the 1:20 locos from Bachmann and Accucraft) the Aristo C-16 is a small loco. It's  pretty spot on for the C-16 in 1:24, which was a small loco.

Later,

K

Don't have the new drive version, but since it's the same body.... A Big Hauler cab swap, widened pilot, and shortened tender body on the Aristo trucks makes a rather aesthetically pleasing bash

The Delton body parts are equally handy.
