A lot of people seemed curious about this, so I found the origins.

The Mickey Mouse phrase originated in Australia. Mice are small and insignifigant, and Mickey is associated with children's entertainment. For these combined reasons, "This is so Mickey Mouse!" means that something is childish, shoddy, or unsophisticated.

We have another well used phrase here in Australia that would have added a degree of levity to the "Disneyland" thread.

"Don't come the raw prawn with me".
