Well, the motorcycles just made it down my way because Wal-Mart had them!
Guess they are leftovers from up North Wal-Marts. [;)]
Still there nice

I have got some of those bikes, in fact, if you've visited my "shop" and "passenger coach" webpages you have seen the one I have.

They are all H-D from various eras. 1:24 works better for "Cargo" on flat cars and coming out of boxcars (backgrounds). 1:18 are better for "forgrounds" and scenes.

Rock...Rock on!

Well yes, [:)][:)][:)]

That would fit , too.

Of course I have a new pun on that latest one.[;)][:D][:D]

BTW with careful planning there could be one pun after the other, all related and interconnected.

HJ, it would be interesting to put some pigs out back of Hog Heaven, but I was hoping to save them for the above future project. [:D]

Being an incorrigible punster I would add a fence out the back and Preiser sets # 47046 through 47048.[;)][:D][:D]

Happy hunting for the corresponding pictures.[:o)][:o)]

Welcome to the forum! I had the EXACT same idea with the signs for the Harley shop when I saw the packaging. That is a cool building you made! Maybe as business grows there you can do a typical "add-on" to the shop. That or build a new one with a "We have moved " sign on there. Enjoy the forum! Later eh...Brian.

Brain, I have two 1:18 HD hardtails that will look right at home on my 1950's NG layout.

   Have fun with your trains

Hey again,
Just checked the website www.maisto.com. Lots to choose from. In 1/18 there ARE older bikes! Police also. None in 1/24 for police though. Had an idea for a scene. These sure are awesome for the price! Later eh...Brian.

I'll have to check that out.
Maisto is a good make, usually their motorcycles are 1:16 or larger. So that's nice to see.
Now if they would get around to making BMW, Motoguzzi, BSA and the like in that scale, I'd get some too. I don't remember seeing Hogs in the 60s and 70s in CH.

Gentlemen,

I just picked up some 1:24 scale Harley-Davidson motorcycles at Wal*Mart.
They're made by Maisto and cost $2.86 each. There are 6 different models to choose from, representing H-D bikes from 1903 to 2001. They seem to be a good quaility item that would probably add a little extra something to your layout.

Mr. Disneyland, THIS is what our forum is supposed to be all about.
