They are very shiny . You should see the freight cars they haul , grubby , rusty , oilly , etc. Eventually i'll get to painting the "old" C.J.& M. paint job and they will contrast nicely with this "new" paint . I got the old paint layout in my head for now . Have to sell off my big power ( SD70's and Dash9's) to have something to paint. I like body mounting Kadee's and engines that big might be a problem when coupled up to smaller freight cars.Plan on getting a couple more GP38's, a GP30 and GP9 . I am keeping one six axle locomotive however , a SD45 that will get this paint. It will probably be mu'ed with the U25 alot.

Engines all look clean, almost too clean. Leads to the inevitable question from this Old Putz "Looks like you employees spend so much time washing the equipment do they have time to haul cargo?" Smile,Wink, & Grin Well done my friend.

New locomotives on the C.J.&M.

The paint shops have been busy this year on the C.J.&M. Since the last time I posted pictures of the fleet this last winter i've repainted another GP38-2 into what I call a GP39m. It is identical to the #206 with all new led headlites and ditchlites as well as a USAT fan smoke unit . It also recieved a roof mounted air conditioner and assorted details. The GP30 #258 was not repainted but it got all new led hedlites and ditchlites . The S-4 is a ex CP unit. It got new paint as well as replacing the 3mm led's with 5mm. I also added a working roof mounted yellow blinking light. Some body mod's were done like blocking off the two middle windows in the front of the cab. I just finished the U25Bm . It also has 5mm led headlites and ditchlites roof mounted mars lite and see through rear radiator grills. All the units now have Kadee couplers. The C.J.and M. is soon going to retire all of its 6 axle units in favor of 4 axle ones. I hope you enjoy the pictures.
