I am searching for two (2) LGB box car door handles. Does anyone have any I could purchase to complete a Tootsie Pops box car I've made?
Or, do you know where I could buy these parts? I've tried every advertiser (who lists LGB in their ad) in Garden Railways magazine but came up empty.
Thanks!
I do not suffer from insanity...I enjoy every minute of it!!! Over 60 and still playing with toys!
I bet LGB/Marklin or LGBoA could help you with parts, just contact customer service. Hope this helps! - Peter

You can give this link a try:http: http://www.nicholassmithtrains.com/store/product/18945/LGB-DOOR-HANDLE-SET-/ I hope this helps. - Peter
Thanks! I've already sent them an e-mail since their site doesn't have a picture of the door handles and I know that some handles will not work. Will see what happens.
LGBoA is basically gone... they turned into "silvergate" and now they are gone (San Diego)
Walthers distributes... good luck...
Try the people at Train-Li, they can get some LGB parts, I believe the owner used to work for LGB, so he is still "connected".

I second Greg's Idea.

To follow up on Greg’s comments;
LGBoA = totally expired, no longer exists. They became "Silvergate" after the death throws of LGB, and now their web-site no longer exists, and the phone is no longer connected. I think they went under. (They are still listed in Google search, but nothing makes contact.)
Walthers took over North American distribution rights from Marklin (LGB owners) and some unit pieces are available but have not seen any "parts catalog" from Walthers.

You might consider scratch build your own.
Call Axel / Joanne on the phone... I know they are busy now with something..
They are good people.
