Ian,

That's OK. If there's a platform there most likely is track (I hope) and catenary or other tell-tale stuff.[:)][:)]

You guys are too good! RhB, perhaps the next one will go through Photoshop--good idea. I'll still have it updated with more clues for those who don't see the forum.

First of all, a big thanks to Ian Brown for submitting this idea and the photos. We're going to try a new game here on GR.com. I've posted an article with photos of a station somewhere in the world with a clue. Can you guess where it's located and the name? Additional clues will be posted (see the text for the date of when), and the answer will be posted about a week from now.

Let's have some fun! And if you have photos of a station or other prototype area you have visited, let me know for future installments of this game!

Rene, [;)]

That prominent "FS" (Ferrovie Stato) on the building is a dead give-away. Perhaps you run the next one through Photo-Shop to get rid of the most obvious tell-tale signs.
Placing a big grinning smilie instead of the "FS" would have done the trick. [:o)][:o)]
Or even better yet, insert a "DSB" and people would be really wondering if it isn't Copenhagen. [;)][:D][:D]

It is "Stazione F.S. Venezia S. Lucia", directly on the "Canale Grande".
