Probably interpreted chuff as whistle. You could interpret it as almost anything Big Smile

I recently won a Bachman 460 Big Hauler.  When I did an OP Test on it, I noticed that the steam whistle sound was more like a burp.  Is it worth it to repair the circuit board or should I just get a new tender.  Thanks.

So what was the problem?

Dave

Could be wrong here, but I'm tending to agree with Dave. Sounds like your "prize" was upgraded with a defective sound card.

To my understanding B-Mann only makes a steam sound, was your's up-graded?
