Great shot of those Cdn. beaver !
Did ya know whenever they hear running water in (their) pond, they always seem to head for it ASAP to put a stop to it ? Although it does look like they've knocked a few trees down already to attack what looks like a small creek in right foregrd.
Oh BTW if you haven't already done so pls. send Debbie a copy of your pic. She asked me to send one of my family (of 3) when they got comfortable somewheres on the RBR, but i keep forgetting about them !

Sunset Depot beavers -

Thanks for the responses, after looking at what was available we stayed with the the "O" scale we had already bought. It's not quite as large as we would have liked but the "large scale" were to big. Either way it should be a real hoot when the recipient recieves his "one of kind" accessory.

SunsetDepot makes a decent lookin' family (or seperate), resin assortment of beavers !
http://sunsetdepot.net/gallery.php?catid=1 2 beav' with an alleged porcupine !
http://sunsetdepot.net/gallery.php 3 beav' with a couple trees stumps
I purchased a family set at one of mini-meets a couple yrs back which included a beaver pup which maybe better for your Ohscale ! 30mmnose to tail tip 12mm high to top of back compared to adult 61mm NtoT, 25mm H .
For the u.s.a., "For our customers in the U.S. we are pleased to introduce our U.S. Distributor, Walnut Creek Trains, offering UPS shipping to all 50 states. " Although on Walnut's site, they indicate due to rising shipping costs they are slowly discontinuing the SunsetDepot line of product !
If you do contact Debbie let her know you're referencing Doug C. purchase of a couple yrs back ! If the mold still available for the pup you may wish to order just a quantity of them. And the majority of thier product is offered unpainted as well !
general gallery of product; http://sunsetdepot.net/gallery.php beaver start about half-way down !
They're probably manufacturing/stocking up right now for our upcoming show, SUPERTRAIN where they are listed has having booth space again (of course)!
p.s. i always 'silently' shake my head at the frizzy lookin' porcupine 'cause I'm sure the first time I viewed it, i chuckled at it . . . . Debbie looked like she was going to wack me for insulting her 'masterpiece' :) I told her it looked more like a senior aged beav' with its white tipped quills (aka hair) ;)
Most of us are in much larger scales than 1:48. Many figures are 1:24 and 1:20.3. You might have some success with figures in the 1:32 range. The USAT figures are smaller as I understand (and by looking inside my streamliners).

Bashing an "O" gauge operating accessory but looking for some large scale figures, beavers in particular, and have had no success with any searches.
Any sources would be appreciated, Thanks.
