Howdy Peter; I haven’t used styrene much for building walls or roofs but do use it for door frames, doors and nonstructural and detail parts; not that I’m against using styrene for structural purposes. Most of my basic structures are built from ½” outdoor plywood or Hardy Backerboard. I use Evergreen .250” scribed sheet styrene for rollup doors and build up conventional doors with styrene strips on sheet styrene backing. For UV protection, make sure everything is painted.

Hope this helps, Rob

Howdy Peter, you can get Evergreen and Plastuct brands, in many shapes and sheets, at most hobby shops. You can get larger sheets at plastic supply stores, check the Yellow Pages.

Have fun, Rob
