Hi JLCH,  Welcome to the forum,   First can you see the ends of the handrails going through the chasses of loco if you can then you should be able to ease them out. If not they could be glued in. Are they plastic or metal if metal they should be able to gently pull them out by wriggeling them.plastic may break but replacements should be available from any good service centre.     I see you are new to the forum, if you would like to show where you are put in in your bio.  This will help others to assist you there may be someone local that could give advice or maybe drop by to help if you need it.     Hope this helps.

I am in the process of taking apart an LGB White Pass loco and I am having a problem getting the handrails off. Is there an easy safe way to remove them. I need to get into the cab and the handrails are not letting me get it off. Thanks for the Help!!!
