TWO-STALL scratchbuilt Roundhouse

Hey gang,

I was working on a 1 meter long engine house (single stall) but then got a great idea....

The single stall I was building was basically a wood frame with "facades" cemented on the sides to simulate brick. But I started looking at the neat large scale Korber roundhouse in my LGB book, and came up with this: I can take the single stall and mount a large hinge on the right of the entrance; I mount the other end of the hinge to a similar single-stall wood frame structure. I then "open" the space between the stalls, say 40 degrees...and Wala! Instant 2-stall roundhouse!

Of course to make it look right, I will need a suitable roof and entrance/rear, but that doesn't seem much trouble, because the corners of the ceiling can be angled they aren't really "round" so I can use any suitable material for outdoors.
I can copy the roof from magazine pictures,too.
